Disciplines - Master Planning
Nearly every hospice program with which we have collaborated has undertaken a capital campaign fundraising effort. We have been integral in developing materials for fundraising packets and media campaigns including site master plans, facility naming opportunity value lists and written descriptions of what the inpatient will encompass.
Our services include:
Feasibility Studies
- Conceptual Design and Master Planning - Providing concept plans for the highest and best use and function based on the Owners program of requirements.
- Inpatient Bed Needs Assessment - Data is compiled from your hospice census information, county death rates for primary counties served, and population projections from state and national sources to formulate the number of acute care inpatient beds that will be supported in your primary service area. Emphasis is placed on five-year, ten-year and, if warranted, fifteen-year intervals to provide you and your Board strategic decision-making data.
- Model Two-Year Operating Budget - Matrix will develop an in-depth budget that will define the funding necessary for operations over the initial two-year period. Budget data includes staffing, meal delivery, utilities, security, maintenance and housekeeping considerations.
- Project Budget Development - At the outset of your project, Matrix can provide overall preliminary cost information that will establish a comprehensive budget for your inpatient facility project. These costs are derived from our historical database, continually updated, and adjusted for any geographic location. These have proven to render exceptionally accurate total cost clarity early in past projects.
