Hospice of Northwest Ohio

Hospice of Northwest Ohio is a 24-bed inpatient facility that opened in February of 2004. Situated on 16 acres adjacent to Swan Creek, the two-story facility is nestled into the wooded setting, providing a peaceful, nurturing environment for patients, families and visitors. Future meandering walkways, a children's play area, and picnic groves are planned to take advantage of the natural surroundings.

The facility also marks an important new development in an aging, inner-city neighborhood. Brick and limestone detailing, and wood trim accents give the large structure a warm "English Tudor" appearance.

Some of the features in this 48,253 square foot facility include interior courtyards with attractive gardens and water features, two screened-in patios that overlook the woods, and family lounges complete with kitchenettes for use by all patient families.
